Welcome! I’m Katie Pine.

I am a Denver-based C-IAYT Yoga Therapist with more than 1,000 hours of specialized training in the therapeutic application of yogic practices. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I’m so glad you found your way here!

I fell in love with yoga over 12 years ago when I left home for the first time. I remember feeling so lost and ungrounded during those first few weeks living in a new city and experiencing so many changes at once, and some of the first new friends I made brought me to yoga with them. Within my yoga practice, I was not only able to feel grounded and connected again, I started meeting parts of myself I never knew existed and developing a deeper connection to the world around me. After a few years trying many different kinds of yoga and meditation classes, I found myself drawn to my first teacher training program.

Over the past 8 years since I received that first teaching certification, I have been fortunate enough to hold space for hundreds of students as they've moved through their lives, and to receive over 1,000 hours of additional training from some of the world’s leading healthcare professionals and Yoga Therapists.

I am now a Denver-based private practice Yoga Therapist and owner of Reconnection Yoga Therapy, LLC. I offer in person and virtual sessions, and specialize in grounding and awareness practices, breathwork and nervous system regulation, all of which supported me in reconnecting with myself all those years ago. In my private sessions, I use yoga-based tools and techniques to create holistic treatment plans for my clients, which support them as they reconnect with their true, inherently whole selves.

I would love to hold space for you. Learn more here about yoga therapy as a healing modality or click here to connect with me.

“After two years practicing with Katie, I notice the benefits both on and off the mat. In stressful situations, I am able to focus on my breath, calm my own mind, and respond to my children in a manner that calms — rather than escalates — the situation.”
