I experienced many of these symptoms myself, until I found the yogic practices that reconnect me with myself and bring my system back into balance.

Now, I work with clients experiencing stress, burnout, anxiety and pain via a comprehensive assessment and holistic treatment planning process, helping them find and implement the specific yoga-based tools and practices they need to restore balance to their lives as they reconnect with themselves.

Your energetic and physical make-up, lifestyle and experiences are one-of-a-kind. Your therapeutic sessions should be too.

While many treatment methods only provide temporary relief without addressing the root causes of our imbalances, yoga therapy tools and practices address the very foundations of our lives and reconnect us with our deepest selves. This is essential for lasting healing.

As a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), I facilitate healing by evaluating your:

  • Current physical, mental, emotional and energetic imbalances

  • Default nervous system patterns

  • Levels of awareness

  • Routines and habits

  • Health and wellness goals

and offering practices that will allow your body to access its natural healing abilities. This is done in session with your direct feedback and collaboration, and after each session I email you your personalized treatment recommendations and a summary of our session findings.

Yoga therapy treatment plans are crafted to address the whole person to optimize healing, and can include a combination of breathing techniques, somatic movement, awareness practices, yoga poses, guided meditations, sleep practices, affirmations, routine building, lifestyle changes and more.

The International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) defines yoga therapy as “the professional application of the principles and practices of yoga to promote health and well-being within a therapeutic relationship that includes personalized assessment, goal setting, lifestyle management, and yoga practices for individuals or small groups.”

As a Certified Yoga Therapist with IAYT, I am committed to responsible and ethical practice and to my own professional and personal growth. I am also bound by their Code of Ethics and Scope of Practice.
